Best Beginnings for health professionals

Best Beginnings is committed to providing evidence-based resources to help healthcare professionals provide the best possible start for Britain’s babies.

The free “From Bump to Breastfeeding” DVD has been designed to inform women about breastfeeding and help them to make a start and continue to breastfeed for 6 months and beyond. The DVD is available free to pregnant women living in the UK. Information on how to order and distribute the DVD, as well as the answers to other related questions, is available to download here. You can also watch the DVD online.

northernirelandNORTHERN IRELAND -: Each maternity unit will automatically receive regular supplies of the DVD so you don't need to order it.  A poster has also been developed specifically for Northern Ireland to help promote the DVD in ante-natal clinics. Copies of the poster have already been provided to each maternity unit.
